Nursery

project

One of our most rewarding volunteer experiences takes place in a government run nursery. This nursery looks after children up until age 3. Many of these children come from single parent families. Consequently, this service offers a vital service to single mothers who otherwise would not be able to work and provide for their families. In the nursery, volunteers assist staff in looking after, playing with, and feeding the children. The children are all incredibly kind. There aren’t many better ways to spend a morning than playing with a group of these children! The staff also run day trips with children which, although exhausting, are fantastic fun. The children are all very inquisitive and love the opportunity to explore. The staff at this nursery are also very friendly and always excited to receive volunteers.
